Odyssey assist businesses and their management teams during difficult times, advising them through distressed situations. We are not insolvency practitioners as we believe you cannot be both a doctor and undertaker, so our focus is very much on survival!

Our corporate recovery advisory services depend on the specific situation but typically include:

  • performing detailed financial reviews to understand why a business may be in a distressed situation
  • identifying solutions and making turnaround recommendations such as restructuring, cash management, refinancing or sale
  • reporting to shareholders, funders and other stakeholders
  • producing short term daily cashflows and longer term forecasts
  • assisting in managing cashflows, including liaising with debtors and creditors
  • negotiating with creditors including HMRC, banks and other funders
  • acting as interim FD, releasing valuable management time
